Advice on how to take care of my lip piercing?

I got a vertical labret pirecing a week ago. It's difficult to keep it clean and leave it alone because it's right in the middle of my lip, and alot of stuff goes on there.

Right now, the swelling I think has gone down a bit but when I wake up there's some crusty brown stuff around my piercing, I don't know if it's dried blood or whatever. Is that normal at this point? When do you think it should stop?

I've been cleaning it with satin anti-microbial soap. Should I use saline solution instead?

I love it and I don't want it to reject. Also, if a piercing has already started to reject, can you make it stop?

Thanks!Advice on how to take care of my lip piercing?
Ok first of all start using an anti-bacterial mouthwash, use it after you eat, drink, smoke etc (where any bacteria can come in contact with it).

Then about 3 times a day soak it with semi-hot sea salt water (put one teaspoon of salt in hot water and let it cool for a minute), soak it until the cotton wool cools, then repeat until you've soaked it for 15 mins total.

I also use Savlon (it's an anti-bacterial cream for minor cuts and skin disorders) for my piercings, some people say it's not good but it's a matter of choice, it's always worked for me, for your lip piercing it might taste a bit funny but it will help, put it on the outside and move the piercing so it gets inside the hole once a day until it heals, okay it will sting but the next day you will see results!!

Hope that helps xx
