Cut inside lip care/ Cut outside lip turning yellow...?

Hey, I crashed my face into a brick wall (...) and my tooth made a gash inside of my lip, it's somewhat deep but i don't think i'll need stitches or anything since it's stopped bleeding (this happened like 2 nights ago). My question is if there's anything I can do to help the healing of the gash inside my lip, but also about the cut's outside of my lip. The whole area outside has kind of crusted over with a yellowish clear skin or something that I'm not really sure what it is. Is this it's healing or is it getting infected?

Sounds to me like it might be infected. There are a number of things you can do to help clear it up: Peroxil is most likely the product you'll want. It is like peroxide, but safe to use in your mouth (don't swallow it though, I did on accident and it made my stomach feel really wierd!) Use this for a few weeks and it should clear up. I would recommend talking to a professional, though, as it might be more serious considering how deep it was. I hope I helped, and feel better!!
