Can lip herpes under good care last only 3 days? Was it Herpes at all?

Ok, i got lip herpes last year from a friend's lipstick...i know utterly stupid. Anyway, this year, almost exactly the same date, minuscule herpes pustules showed up and i disinfected everything in the house, applied Fenivir like crazy, and whenever i had to go out i used the special patch by Compeed. Hands washed after application, drinking from straws that were discarded and so on ........ So, after 3 days the sores are gone (they went through the whole cycle, liquid, then painful then red and puss filled then the wound) and only some red spots are there that will be gone by tomorrow. Was this herpes at all? I did take more vitamins and ate better...Can lip herpes under good care last only 3 days? Was it Herpes at all?

Also, your immune system can suppress these herpes. I used to get canker sores, another form of herpes.

If you're having problems with fever blisters on your lips, try lysine salve and lysine capsuls, both available at health food stores. Stops them in their tracks.
