Lip piercing care question?

I got my lip pierced in September

and now I have this bump on the outside my mouth where the ring comes out

It's progressively gotten bigger.. now it looks like a wart

I might be a keloid

But any suggestions how to get rid it

I've been putting chalked up Tylenol for a couple daysLip piercing care question?
If you frequently change your jewelry, chew on it, rub your piercing or otherwise irritate the area, it can cause a scar to start to form. This is not neccessarily a keloid, but more likely to be a hypertrophic scar. The first step in getting the scar to go away is to eliminate the stress on the area. So no more fiddling with your ring. If you just can't leave a ring alone, then consider changing to a stud instead.

It's also possible that you're having a reaction to your jewelry. If the area is sore, weeps, or looks aggravated then you may need a different material of jewelry. Keeping makeup away from your piercing is also important.

To help the bump break down, keep the area clean leave it alone. You can try massaging the scar with vitamin e oil or another scar treatment, but don't do it more than once a day and be careful to clean off any residue to prevent irritation to your piercing.

But rule number one for getting scars like that to fade is to keep movement of your piercing to a minimum and wear quality, well fitted jewelry.Lip piercing care question?
i got this on my belly ring and thought it was a keloid to, but then when i read about keloids is its a type of scarring that never goes away, so pray it isnt that! its probably not, keloids are simply scar tissue, if it hurts bleeds or pusses at all, its not a keloid, which is a good thing! i popped mine with a pin, it hurt like hell and is probably not what your suppose to do. but it went away! i think the best thing to do is just keep washing it, h2ocean or a sea salt soak, and antimicrobial soap- (provon is the best.)

goodluck!
you can also try making a chamomile tea and using the water as a soak, like in a shot glass if you have one.
change the ring maybe

i got mine done last month and a tiny bump started to form but then i changed the ring and it went away
