you say you have a piercing on your lip...and then you say that you have a tattoo on your lip...i dont get it.How do you care for a lip percing?
You should try and find someone who will do it with charcoal. Medical charcoal.

That stuff lasts forever inside your mouth, and isn't dangerous.
I have one too Is was a star. Any tattoo shop should and most will tell you lip tattoos will not last the ink will fade/pull away. They aren't worth the pain or the cash you can go back but It will just happen again. Take care of it as you would anyother tatoos
The reason is is fading is the same reason that hand or foot tattoos fade... friction. It rubs against your teeth and fades. The only way to prolong this is to have it tattooed DEEP which is painful and unsafe. My father-in-law has had one for the last 25 years so it not impossible. Just painful. Don't forget to take care of it properly.
The reason the ink is coming out is because there is SO much moisture in your mouth that its going to fade really fast. It's pretty much not going to last real long. Sorry.
Honey, inner lip tattoos only last a couple weeks. The moisture of your mouth won't allow the ink to get set in your lip. Plus, it's constantly being rubbed against your teeth. Sorry. Your tattoo artist should have told you that beforehand.
