Rest assured that you WILL have to have it shot again. The ink will be pushed out by the rapid skin changing on your lip. On some it comes out faster and others it may last a while. well it is prone to fade no matter how well you treat it
the first thing to do when it is done is to put gauze in your lower lip to absorb all of the saliva.. it will help it last longer. do that for the next day or so.
then try not to chew (like chewing tabacco) or drink alcohol beverages for the next 3 days. this will help preserve it.
just act like its not there and you'll be fine
but dont be surprised if its gone in about 6 months
i have had mine for 6 and its fine. but my friend's is almost fully faded.
